Future Perfect was a project we developed at Unknown Worlds as a way to explore our interest in user-generated content. A small, four-person team, we were experimenting with ways to make it easy for players to use a simple set of tools to easily come up with their own game to share with friends, that could even include altering and updating the game in a real-time multiplayer setting. As Art Director on the project, a lot of my work involved finding a cohesive and recognisable visual direction for art assets we provided with the game. Working with our partners at Fox3D, my work included art direction, concept art, environment art, level design, branding, web design, as well as other sundry visual design tasks. The game was brought into early access, but was put into indefinite hiatus in 2015.
